I specialize in creating custom-made furniture and spatial arrangements to meet the specific needs of my clients. My focus is on adapting to my clients' lifestyles and working closely with them to ensure that every aspect of their project is customized to their specifications. In addition, I collaborate with artists and designers to bring wood-related ideas and art projects to life. By combining my skills in furniture design with a creative vision, I am able to offer unique pieces that are both functional and visually appealing.
About Monsi
My name is Arthur Monsacré, and I'm a furniture designer hailing from Paris, France.
In June 2018, I founded Monsi, my own furniture design company.
My journey began in 2015 when I came to Copenhagen after completing a short education in Paris. It was there that I met two skilled woodworkers, Anders Guld and Kasper Løvenholdt, who graciously took me under their wings for several months. During this time, they introduced me to Danish design and a fresh approach to furniture making.
Seeking to expand my skills and knowledge, I travelled to different places in Asia, where I spent a year working with woodworkers from diverse backgrounds and cultures. There, I had the opportunity to use machines and techniques that I had never experienced in Europe.
I then returned to France and spent some time designing and building custom-made terraces of varying shapes and sizes in the Pays de la Loire region.
Eventually, I made my way back to Copenhagen and joined the Amager Snedkerhus collective, where I was finally able to realize my dream of founding my own company.
